Chef Don McMillan, CEC, AAC has been seen and featured on many television broadcast shows across our great United States. Here's a list of some of the shows he has done.

• WXII News Channel 12 The NBC Affiliate featured Chef Don McMillan, CEC, AAC with a weekly cooking show called Monday's Menu at noon and a featured spot called Back Yard Grilling during the evening broadcast. The shows started in 1986 and still continues.
• Southern Outdoors on Fox Sports South featuring his recipes for 26 shows each year for 2006 and 2007.
• Celebrate! Christmas with Maya Angelou on the Hallmark Channel.
• Rick & Bubba Show on Tuner South featuring Tailgating recipes for one show in 2005 and one in 2006.
• Home Plate on Turner South featuring his recipes along with Chef Marvin Woods for two shows in 2005 and one in 2006

Chef Don McMillan helped recreate recipes with Maya Angelou for her cookbook "Hallelujah! The Welcome Table: A Lifetime of Memories with Recipes" Chef Don McMillan worked along with Dr. Maya Angelou in her kitchen testing the recipes and getting them ready for the photographs for her cookbook.

Chef Don McMillan and Andrew McMillan with Catering by Simple Elegance have created a program that will inspire our school children to increase their knowledge of food, geography and social studies. We call it Fun Learning with Food. Each class or group of classes decides on which country or historical eras they wish to take a culinary journey to, and then Chef Don and Andrew prepare a menu to fit the culinary trip. When the day arrives, Chef Don will lead the class/group in a lively informative half-hour dialogue drawing on his extensive travels to over 50 countries and keen knowledge of world history and economics. During this time the chosen meal is served and a new experience has begun. During his discussions with the students, Chef Don will relate the economics of the meal such as why certain foods are cooked and consumed in ways uncommon to our experiences.
