General Information

Beverage Service
We offer a complete selection of beverages to compliment your function. Please note that alcoholic beverage sales are regulated by the State of North Carolina. SIMPLE ELEGANCE CATERING, as a licensee, is responsible for administration of these regulations.
  1. When alcoholic beverages are served, we observe the minimum age of the State of North Carolina.
  2. North Carolina law prohibits brown bagging in areas where a hosted or cash bar is in operation.
  3. No liquor bottles, empty or full, may be removed from a mixing station.
  4. North Carolina law requires that our bartenders must dispense all alcohol that is purchase.
  5. You will be billed for keg beer per keg ordered and no refunds will be allocated for kegs untapped.
  6. Bottled beer, wine, cocktail, and soft drinks are charged by consumption.
  7. Simple Elegance will not serve beverages to any guest that appears to be intoxicated.
  8. A fee of $7.50 per .750 milliliter bottle of wine served and $15.00 per 1.5 liter of wine served will be charged if you wish to provide your own wine.

Guest Guarantees
  1. Final guarantee of guests for all functions-must be received five weekdays prior to event date.
  2. If guarantee is not received at least by noon 5 day prior to the scheduled event, the minimum or expected number of guests will become the guaranteed number.
  3. Charges will be based on the guaranteed number less any deposits paid unless additional guests attend.

Deposit and Payment Policy
  1. A deposit of 50% of the projected charges is due and payable in order to reserve the requested space, date, and time. No reservations can be made unless deposit is received.
  2. Five weekdays before the event date the remaining balance is due. Payment is required to be made in cash, check, or credit card. Any additional charges, including the cost of exceeding the minimum confirmation number, are due and payable upon completion of the scheduled event.
  3. It is our request that an authorized person signs the final invoice at the end of the function.

Pricing and Procedures
Menu prices are subject to change without notice. Please note that 20% service charge and applicable N.C. State tax are additional cost to all food and beverage prices quoted.
  1. All events require a minimum of $40.00 service charge.
  2. There is an additional fee for wait staff, bartenders, beverage attendants and chefs. $65.00 for the first two hours and $20.00 each additional hour, or part thereof . Time starts at our arrival time.
  3. Menus are based on a service of two hours and a minimum of 50 guest, if less price will increase $3.00 per person.
  4. Cake service fee is $1.00 per person when serving your special event cake.
  5. Events not requiring food or beverage will be charged a linen rental of $10.00 per cloth and $30.00 per skirt.
  6. Client is responsible for any property damage done to the property by clients guest, attendees, employees and independent contractors.
  7. Centerpieces, fresh cut flowers, rental of specialty linens and theme decorations can be arranged by the catering sales office.
