Skills to Be Learned and Team Work to Be Accomplished
Each team fellow must complete their portion of the meal in the allocated time span, as the group will all dine at the same time. Teams must execute their mission and coordinate to the completion to their missions.

A note about Chef Donald McMillan, CEC, AAC, Chef Donald McMillan is an ACF Certified Executive Chef and a fellow of the prestigious American Academy of Chefs. The honor society of the American Culinary Federation (ACF), Academy Fellows demonstrate the highest standards of professionalism in the organization, society and industry. He has taught cooking classes for over 22 years and has owned and operated two gourmet restaurants, a large catering company and a cooking school with a gourmet food and equipment store. He has taught over 40 chef apprentices who are presently employed as culinarians in restaurants and hotels around the nation. Chef McMillan has visited over 50 countries, learning first hand the uniqueness of each culture and its cuisine and has finished his first cookbook.
Chef Don has been featured on many television broadcast shows
in the United States.
A list of some of the shows include:
- WXII News Channel 12 the NBC Affiliate featured Chef Don
with a weekly noon cooking show "Monday's Menu" and on Back
Yard Grilling during the evening news broadcast. The shows
started in 1986 and still continue. "Southern Outdoors"
on Fox Sports South featuring his recipes for 26 shows each
year for 2006 and 2007.
- "Celebrate! Christmas with Maya Angelou" on the Hallmark Channel in 2006.
- "Rick & Bubba Show" on Tuner South featuring Tailgating recipes for shows in 2005/2006.
- "Home Plate" on Turner South featuring his recipes along with Chef Marvin
Woods for two shows 2005/2006
- "Iconoclast" with Dave Chappelle & Maya Angelou on the Sundance Channel in 2006
Corporate Team Building
The Culinary Team Building Challenge is an effective way to build trust and improve communication between co-workers. We work together, have fun and build relationships between co-workers.
Our Culinary Team Building Events bring co-workers together to improve communication, hone problem-solving skills, build morale and have fun. Each person contributes their own personal skills to make great food together as part of a team and this becomes the focus for sharing, responsibility and making the most of each person's individual skills. All teams work toward a common goal from prepping the food using tools of the trade, cooking the food with precise timing and plating the food with an eye for appealing excellence.
